Script Writing Part (1)

 Script Writing (Part 1)

   When you Need a Script?

“ A Script nothing more than a written version of your video, including the spoken lines and a short description of the visual.”

A successful video needs a story. If your story has more dialogue and detail then you can easily hold in your head it need a script. A script is nothing more than a written format of your video, Including the spoken lines and a short description of the visuals.

Actors and Dialogue needs a script. Any video with multiple locations needs a script. Any video you’re using valuable resource to make it. ( like money, or time other than yours) needs a script.

Script is also a communication tool for you and crew. Nobody can say “ I didn’t know we need a real pig” if it’s right there in the script.

Before starting a script you should have a story
Now what is a story, according to me story is

“ A account of a person encountering obstacles in pursuit of some thing they want”

Your story should have a

Character

Goal

Obstacles

Your story must have these 3 fundamentals.
If one of the fundamental is weak your story is not going to work.

As an example of Bollywood movie “Bajrangi Bhaijaan” Character Pawan ( Salman Khan) his goal was to send munni to her country Pakistan.. and third part what were the obstacles were there.

Combination of these 3 movies made a classic movies.

In next bolg / Youtube Video  I’ll tell you how to write a script.
