Aspiring Film Director, Aspiring Editor, Aspiring Sound Designer, Aspiring Music Director, Aspiring Art Director, Aspiring PS always ask a question to every one how to become what i aspire to be a well known director of Hollywood gave a brilliant answer to all the question you should have a vision what you want and you  have to just remove Aspiring word ! you are what you want to be.

"Aspiring Film Director, Aspiring Editor, Aspiring Sound Designer, Aspiring Music Director, Aspiring Art Director, Aspiring PS "

I'll tell few 5 Hollywood director name's 

1. Alfred Hitchocock 
   
2. Ridley Scott 
   
3. David Fincher 
   
4. Chris Nolan  
   
5. Terry Gillam  
   

Now the question is among these 5 Director what is common in them???

Most Interesting thing is that they have not got an Oscar any of the above mentioned director have not got the Oscar Award. This proves my above statement keep doing what you love, don't think about others. Second most common thing in them is that they never went to a Film School.

"They all are self thought"

"Above mentioned are great and best director in century"

"They were obsessed about filmmaking, That obsession brought them to where they are today"

I'm not saying that never go to the film school, going to film school let you meet peoples who all are going to be script writer someone going to be a music director, someone going to be editor. You meet them and sometimes make a best team out there you learn team work which is more important than filmmaking. Team Work make anything possible.

Point here is there are ways to full fill your dreams, if you are not going to film school and want to be work in film industry just thing is never stop, keep moving keep doing and follow your dreams.

Best Director will say Never Quit, Never ever. It may take time but you'll get what you want.

Some are lucky to get things fast and some get it late but both of them get what they want to be.

Take an example if few people are going to attend class some will go by lift and some by stairs. 

Students going from lift will reach the class easily and fast, where as students coming by stairs will reach late but they both will be there where they want to be this says never stop.

Now the second question is? Have you started?

Many of you have already made a short movie, many have not.

First step is to become a Director ask 3 question to yourself

1. What i want to be?
2. What is the vision?
3. What you are going to learn this time?

You want to be a film director you should make short movies. In every short movie you learn new things.

Don't take time in your first movie shoot- see- edit- publish

See what are the mistakes and try to improve in second movie.

You need three things for your movie

1. Camera (Yes)
2. Story (Yes) Your story should be effective and leave audience to watch till last
3. Script (No)  

      3. Actors (No) You can make movie without actors.

      3. Crew (No) Make it simple keep it very simple.

      3. Sound (No) Try to tell movie without dialogue you can add SFX.

       3. Vision (Yes) :- No vision No Movie, You need to see your movie in your brain, what,where should happen.

Where there is no vision every short movie fails. Every Movie fails.

** Go Make your Short Movie**

*** Remember one thing your movie could be Film or Short Film but never say it as a small Film. Don't call your Hard work Small it will improve movie by movie.*** If it's bad you are going to improve, sometimes you are going to fail, but you are definitely going to improve and learn new things.

1.  Ask question, get feedback, be critical, Don't be satisfied, with a handful of shots.
2. Good Filter , as i mentioned above have a vision, No vision, No Movie.
3. Learn New things every time.
4. Take Suggestion, Listen everyone, take opinions.
